Malindo Air Takes On Sydney

PETALING JAYA, exposetimur.com – Malindo Air will begin its new service from Kuala Lumpur to Sydney, Australia, via Denpasar (Bali), Indonesia, from 14 August 2019.

Booking is now available at a promotional one way fare from RM799 for Economy Class and RM2,899 for Business Class, on the Malindo Air website www.malindoair.com, ticketing offices, customer care centre and its preferred travel agents.

The service is available daily from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Flight OD171 will depart at 8:25p.m. and arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport (Bali) at 9:35p.m. With a stopover for an hour, the flight will depart from Bali at 10:35p.m. the arrive in Sydney Airport at 6:40a.m. in the next morning.

The returning flight, OD0172 from Sydney will depart at 12:00p.m. and arrive in Bali at 4:50p.m. At 6:00p.m. the flight will continue and arrive in Kuala Lumpur at 9:10p.m. (Note: All the timing information is in local time)

A Boeing 737-900 aircraft, comprising 12 Business Class and 168 Economy Class seats will be deployed for the flight.

We believe this connection will attract both business and leisure travellers and support greater passengers’ traffic and promote local economy and tourism.”

“Sydney has a strong market on consumer trade with Malaysia; therefore, the new route will encourage more business travellers to travel on this route. Whereas, the new connection will also entice more travellers to visit the iconic Opera House, which is acclaimed to be one of the Wonders of the World,” he continued.
